Corner Desks

Corner desks are best for small offices or for individuals who prefer a larger space in the center of a room. As the name signifies, corner desks are manufactured in an angle to snugly fit the location where it will be placed. 

These types of desks are made in different designs and shapes with the angle of a corner considered, usually a ninety-degree angle. When space is not an issue, corner desks can be chosen in L and U shapes to provide more working surfaces and storage space. But when space is a factor, corner desks can be in a size just enough for writing or holding a computer monitor or laptop. In this type, desks are usually just three or five sided with just one or no drawer.

Office furniture manufacturers often take advantage of the corner position, to create more storage space for this type of desk. Since it is placed against the wall, having extended shelves above the surface is not uncommon for corner desks.

Aside from saving space, corner desks can also save you manufacturing materials and costs. They can be bought or custom made in a way where they are permanently mounted on the wall, without the side panel supposedly located against the wall.
